Coaching Certification

After confirmation of the first cases of COVID-19 on February 2020, we immediately issued a work-from-home mandate to all our team members in the Philippines and Indonesia. The management team prepared all the necessary tools to make the transition easier for everyone.

Now, we are eight months in to our work-from-home arrangement and it’s taken its toll on our mental health. We learned from our regular check-ins and surveys with our teams that there is a consistent prevalence of anxiety and burnout.

With all the activities planned and carried out, we believe that the one-on-one coaching proves to be the most impactful. To maximize the effectiveness of my coaching sessions, I aimed to enhance my awareness of and gain mastery of coaching, through a certification program.

Coach Masters Academy

I looked into a lot of providers on the internet that are ICF (International Coaching Federation)-approved, and found Coach Masters Academy. Their team was really helpful and helped me a lot on my decision-making process. Ultimately, I signed up for their 12-week Transformative Coaching training program.

Awareness - Clarity - Choice

As of this writing, I’m 4 weeks into my training and we’ve just started the practical lab where we practice coaching conversations with fellow students. What I really like about the training is the science-based approach built on research and practical fieldwork. The comprehensive process being taught allows us to help clients reflect more deeply into the subject at hand, and develop illuminating insights.

I’ve learned a great deal about coaching in just 4 weeks. I can’t wait to apply these learnings with my team and see real, sustainable, positive change.
